Golf & restaurant trifolds

The goals for both of these trifolds were similar: to make a cohesive, calm, and structured design that is visually interesting and unique at the same time. The challenge was to incorporate large amounts of text in the calm, unique structure I had in mind.

To solve the challenge of incorporation, I prioritized the organization, viewing the trifolds from the perspective of a consumer, which was my strategy. Once everything was in place, I developed my concept around what space was left. Working around the structure made a good balance between copy and visuals.

To make my design unique to the consumer, I developed my menu in the shape of the logo, similar to a pizza block. It broke out of the classic rectangle and made the menu more handmade and personable. For the golf trifold, I instead focused on using color and illustration to make imagery of the event. The pop of color made the trifold have a better balance between information and visual identity.
