JWUlink redesign & mobile web design
Mobile web design needs to be clear and user-friendly. It is much different than desktop design. Although very similar, it’s important to acknowledge the differences in screen size, controls, and flexibility that Mobile and Desktop designs have. It’s clear to be as intentional and efficient as possible.
The challenges with all mobile web design start with user frustration, even with my own personal experiences. I think to myself, “what do I hate to see” and “what do I love to see”. I take what users hate about certain mobile designs, such as confusing navigation, long web pages, and unused potential. This is usually because some mobile design isn’t intentional, and unclear with its hierarchy.
Researching and being user-focused helps me understand how to enhance the site to read better, feel more natural, use space efficiently, prioritize content, and, most importantly, make it easy for the user to. Each of my designs accommodates and leaves the visitor with a positive experience.
